Aspen Dental off Atherton in State College did an exceptional job taking care of me when I came in as a walk-in for a tooth extraction. The entire staff was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Ash and Dr. R worked with me, and they were both amazing. They genuinely cared about my well-being and took the time to walk me through every step of the process, making sure I was comfortable and knew what to expect. I really appreciate the care and professionalism they showed me. Thank you, Ash and Dr. R, for taking such great care of me!

I visited Aspen Dental in State College, PA for the first time since I started my supplemental/ Medicare insurance and was very pleased! X rays and other tests were done so they could properly diagnose any issues. Daniel, was a very kind dental assistant who did most of the tests along with another young lady, I have forgotten her name, who measured the quality of my gums— also very nice. Dr R went over the results of the tests and carefully answered all of my questions. Every staff member that I met seemed to be happy that I had chose Aspen. I was interested in hearing about the Motto alignment treatment and spoke with Stephanie who went over the suggested plan and costs. She was very professional and attentive to my questions. There was absolutely no sales pressure from her and that made me comfortable. I plan to return again for a cleaning and with my decision on the Motto alignments. I would recommend this office for a comprehensive dental experience.

So dirty and gross. The floors and walls are atrocious and most of the staff look they haven’t showered in weeks. To top it off, there’s notes everywhere about common knowledge of how medical staff should be trained. I thought they had to be licensed professionals etc. Trying to find another provider in one of our networks is tough due to availability in this town. Don’t go there!

Update— I still do not have any complaints about any of the treatment I have received thus far. Had my appointment this morning and felt as comfortable as possible being in a dentists office. Gesielle is great and provided a lot of information to me that will help my overall expectations. The staff at the State College location were fantastic. Calming, compassionate, and understanding of dental anxiety. Particularly Ash and Gesielle. They were both incredible and I am so thankful that they were with me through the whole process. They answered all of my questions also reassured and comforted me when needed. Most people dread going to the dentist. At least I know I do, but patients should feel safe and confident about making an appointment at Aspen in state college.

My family and I have struggled for a long time to find a dentist office we truly felt comfortable with and could genuinely trust, and we finally stumbled upon a great one. Gesielle and Dr. R are absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel cared for, respected, and completely at ease. I recently had a tooth extraction and implant done, and the entire experience was better than I hoped for. They were professional, reassuring, attentive, and took the time to explain everything clearly. What stood out most was the level of trust and confidence they inspired throughout the process. Finding healthcare providers you feel comfortable trusting with both yourself and your family is rare, and this office has exceeded our expectations. We’re incredibly grateful to have found them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for excellent dental care.
